First Annual Conference on Optical Nanospectroscopy

Optical Nanospectroscopy I, the first annual conference of this COST Action, took place on March 24-28, 2014 at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen in Germany. The conference was organized by Monika Fleischer and Dai Zhang. It united over 120 participants from 24 countries. Support by the COST Action made it possible to organize a top-notch international conference that was accessible to a broad audience (no conference fee requested, travel subsidies provided). 55% of the participants were Ph.D. students or early-stage researchers.

Please consult the conference home page for further information.

Scope:

  • UV / vis / NIR / Raman spectroscopy
  • Spectroscopic techniques with (ultra-)high spatial, temporal, and spectral resolution and sensitivity
  • Nanoscale systems design and nanofabrication: Novel (hybrid) (in)organic nanomaterials
  • Physical processes and modelling of light-matter-interaction and energy flow at the nanoscale
